They wave and say hi in the hallway. When a student is struggling \u2014 socially, emotionally, or with regulation \u2014 that trust makes it possible for them to leave the classroom for a quick movement break without stress.<\/p><p data-start=\"1110\" data-end=\"1395\">Through our movement course in the hall, we can support self-regulation, do a short reflection or social story, and then send them back to class calmer and ready to learn. These are small moments, but they add up to real growth in confidence, independence, and classroom success.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a369b48 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"a369b48\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ef3a8d8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ef3a8d8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Celebrating the Small Wins<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f2bd248 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"f2bd248\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-526e060 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"526e060\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1499\">Small wins don\u2019t have to be dramatic. In spring, I notice:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1501\" data-end=\"1701\"><li data-start=\"1501\" data-end=\"1571\"><p data-start=\"1503\" data-end=\"1571\">Students leaving class and returning regulated after a short break<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1572\" data-end=\"1633\"><p data-start=\"1574\" data-end=\"1633\">Quick social interactions that build trust and connection<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1634\" data-end=\"1701\"><p data-start=\"1636\" data-end=\"1701\">Students trying a new strategy for self-regulation on their own<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1795\">These wins show progress \u2014 sometimes in ways you don\u2019t see in test scores or lesson plans.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-04e91ab e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"04e91ab\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2c3cdda elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2c3cdda\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Self-Care for Teachers<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ad727c0 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"ad727c0\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0855435 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0855435\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"2047\">Supporting students in these ways is rewarding, but it\u2019s also a reminder that self-care matters. Trust and Relationships Matter One of the biggest wins I\u2019m noticing in my Student Services role is how much the relationships I\u2019ve built with students make a difference. Students trust me. They wave and say hi in the hallway. When a student is struggling \u2014 socially, emotionally, or with regulation \u2014 that trust makes it possible for them to leave the classroom for a quick movement break without stress.
