When I was first exploring my new classroom space (and purging all the things) and saw these bright plastic <\/span>chain link clips<\/b>, I remember thinking, <\/span>What am I going to do with these?<\/span><\/i> They seemed like such a random item and I couldn\u2019t figure out how to make them useful in my classroom. I almost tossed them out of my room, but something told me to hang onto them.\u00a0 There were a few items I told myself I\u2019d keep in the classroom for a year – and if I didn\u2019t use them within that time, then I\u2019d pass them onto someone else. Hands-On Fine Motor Play at Its Best<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Now, after seeing them in action, I can\u2019t imagine my classroom without them. <\/span>Chain link clips<\/b> are an amazing tool for <\/span>hands-on fine motor play<\/b>, helping students build their fine motor skills without even realizing it. Whether they\u2019re linking items together or linking the chain links themselves together, students are constantly working their little fingers\u2014strengthening muscles they\u2019ll need for writing and cutting.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A Classroom Staple That Connects to the Math Curriculum<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

They\u2019ve also become a staple in my math lessons!
